- Cryptocurrencies are controversial but not prohibited. There is no direct cryptocurrency regulation regime. Armenia introduced a draft law proposal: Bill on Amending the Law on Information Technologies. However, the government published a response against the adoption of the proposed law. According to article 4 of the bill, any physical person (at least 18 years old), as well as a legal entity, may be employed in the crypto mining sector.
